I got to talk with the widow of the iconic legend, the late Ronnie James Dio about their life together and the Holy Diver box set marking what would have been his 80th birthday. I also talked with Wendy and Don Argott, director of their feature length docu-film 'Dreamers Never Die' about Ronnie James' career from his days in a 50's band to playing Madison Square Garden solo, plus interviews with band mates, friends and surprising outtakes and stories. The Fixx has always been a favorite band of mine and their new album, 'Every Five Seconds' is out and they are touring the U.S. Cy is very engaging and has a wonderful perspective on life. Bananarama is celebrating 40 years this year with their 12th studio album out July 22, Masquerade. Keren & Sara were very open about being a female band in the 80's, enduring and thriving through the years, staying best friends since childhood and the power of being in control of your own destiny.
